Wiring for a Wye using DCC
Author: calsubd

I've looked on utube but it seems everything points to a Digitrax AR 1 and Balloon tracks, I want a simple wye to turn 1 loco, I have a turntable but isn't that too much ? for the job !, TIA

Probably the simplest wiring job u will do in DCC LOL. 4 wires and some gaps.

No problem for a wye and just as simple as a balloon track.

Isolate (insulated rail joiners) one leg of the wye or its tail and wire it like they show for inside the loop with the other pair of wires going to the mainline.

DCC makes it simple and foolproof. Use spring switches for the turnouts (simple piece of spring wire) and it's all automatic.
