HO Scale Brass Steam Hardware
Author: Lurch

I have a HO Scale brass NWSL 2-8-2 70 ton logging mikado that is missing a screw on the bottom to the drive wheel gear cover. The bottom of the frame also says Toby. What would the replacement screw be for this?

Thanks

Northwest Short Line has assortments of small metric screws that are needed. They're inMontana or if you're lucky enough to have a train store near you in small envelopes on a rack. Take one of the remaining ones as a size sample.

If you can't find one, consider tapping a new one such as a 2-56. Tap sets come in handy if you're dealing with brass.

It would be a 2mm x 4 or 5mm long. NWSL sells them.
