Digitrax loconet question

I know Digitrax has shunned cat 5 for loconet. What about the improved cat 6? Thoughts?

Loconet uses a different pinout than Ethernet. Either CAT 5 or CAT 6 cable will have the wrong pairs twisted and will degrade the Loconet signal. Use the flat wire.

Loconet is RS-422 based, therefore has differing cabling requirements than Ethernet.
