Model Railroading > Athearn SD70Ace damage repairDate: 04/25/17 13:56 Athearn SD70Ace damage repair Author: fs321a So.....maybe a silly question but has anyone had to order a new shell from athearn for an SD70Ace? I have never ordered direct from them....
My "R&D Team" decided to see how Dad's locomotive would do after it "crashed off a cliff". Needless to say the front of the shell is toast. Thanks in advance Jon in Az Posted from Android Date: 04/25/17 17:17 Re: Athearn SD70Ace damage repair Author: Dilworth athearn was supposed to either replace or send parts for the sd60m shells from the the last run

They will ask for your model's part number from the end of the box and determine if they have it or expect it.

Bruce Date: 04/26/17 07:55 Re: Athearn SD70Ace damage repair Author: brfriedm Did not pick up on that LOL. I thought it was the kid who crashed his dad's engine and was coming here for help. My bad. Thanks Bruce

You will need to build a fuel tank or get one from Athearn when you get the replacement body. Walthers makes the flatcar but it is hard to find.

And the R&D team have a mountain of outside chores to do in order to work this debt off lol. Thanks again. Jon in Az Posted from Android |
