Model Railroading > Did LGB ever make any G scake track from aluminum??

I know that genuine LGB track was manufactured from brass, and they experimented with nickel silver for a short while, but did they ever make any out of aluminum? I like the LGB nickel silver (it's very rare, and hard to find) because of the traditional benefits that we all learned in HO scale with nickel silver versus brass, but I see some G scale track manufacturers make aluminum but I didn't think that LGB ever worked in aluminum.... Can anyone verify this for me?

LGB made aluminum rail track in the very early years, around the early 1970's. You almost never see it anywhere.
