While I was in the sketchier area of the city, I slid over to the local shortline just to have a quick look around, and found this caboose had just been brought in and left sitting by the enginehouse.

I'm no expert, but I bet it didn't look like this when the JSSX bought it at a terrific trainshow in Woodstock, Ontario a few weeks ago. Thanks for looking.

That's about how some of those Soo cabooses looked at the end of the "caboose era".

Very little rust on the cupola. Is it made out of "aluminum"? Great weathering!
