Model Railroading > Cheyenne & Green River RrdDate: 06/18/17 20:15 Cheyenne & Green River Rrd Author: Bob3985 This weekend the Sherman Hill Model Railroad Club received a locomotive, three covered hoppers and a caboose lettered for the home road on our mall layout for the "Cheyenne & Green River Railroad". More locomotives and cars are in the shops awaiting paint and lettering. This layout was a portion of the former Denver, Greeley and Tahoe created by Dave Trussell of the Greeley Freight Station/ Colorado Model Railroad Museum. Much more to follow.

Like > the "B" unit as 'mid-train helper' That is my personal train and one day I saw a Maerklin car at a train show and it was for my favorite bier (since I am of German descent). So I bought it and put my mind on this project and found that a Roundhouse ore car metal frame fits perfectly under the Bier car and I converted to HO/US to run on my trains. Now being a retired engineer, the bier car always goes directly behind the locomotive. Thanks for noticing.
