More on the Livin' Large scale trains

Here is a ABA set of F's a gent in Houston just acquired. Two of the three are powered, 8 motors in all.

Here is a B40-8 I just acquired last week. That my ugly mug on the business end of this unit.

These double stack well cars were built by a Scott Weatherford of Missouri, and will be freight for the SSW dash 8 above.

We had an operations meet in East Texas a couple weeks ago, and here are a few pics of that event.
We used the RailOp car forwarding program.

Beautiful stuff Shane.The well cars are nice ,but that WP power is outstanding.

Is live steam dead....................it'a almost all diesel now.

No not dead, but suffering some. Not many people have a machinist background now. So if they want a steam engine they have to buy one from a builder and they are not cheap. But then, some diesels now are just about as high.

Are you sure that's not Dublin Texas? Small picture, but that looks like Ed Leatherwoods track.

That is a very current photo from C&IG, Billy C. Driving.
Sorry for bad quality of photo, I can't improve on it.

What's the procedure for uncoupling . I don't see cutlevers, at least on the well cars.

The Santa Fe units are on the C&IG at the bridge on the loop to Comanche yard.
