HO Layout update Santa Fe Roundhouse and Misc.

Last month we started to install the turntable pit built by my Dad to go along with his turntable and roundhouse for our Santa Fe- San Bernardino yard. Here are some additional quick shots of the progress since then.


Photo 1: Getting most of the track in and getting the pit fine tuned.

Photo 2: Starting to add plaster.

Photo 3: Starting to come together.

And for the 24/7 railroading business we added lights. Working on the right resistors, initially too bright but still fun.

I don't know how those big steamers make that "S" curve
by the RH.

Thank you. Yes that S curve is near the end of an old branch line that only uses small engines and equipment. No big equipment on that line.
