HO Scale - Staging Yard Sunday

Our version of Roseville Yard.  The yard panel, and the yard it controls.

This started out as an engine only storage and staging yard.  We wanted room for over one hundred locomotives.  We got it.

I parked a train here one day because the rest of Roseville was full.  The idea caught on.

Hi Larry
Whose swift train is that in photo #2? Is this a photo from last year?

The train belongs to HO Scale.  The power might be mine, or it too belongs to HO Scale.

Sometime in the last six months, we received a donation that included six Swift RoadRailers kits.  Since we have a Triple Crown RoadRailer (that Cindy Winters donated) that looks out of place, we decided to buy a Swift train that would be more appropriate for our mostly Espee RR.  There was no rush.  If we found some, we would buy some.  I looked at a couple brick and mortar stores, but they had none.

Model train stuff dot com had them marked down 1/3 off, and a "everything Bowser an additional 10% off" weekend.  I ordered 32 trailers and a couple adapters.  Phil said 32 plus the power was the right number that would fit in most sidings and yard tracks.  I think Cindy's train was originally around 50 or more.

Those six kits that inspired this train will be kept for spare parts, as soon as we find them.  We have so many boxes of donations, I don't know where they are.

Cool.  Jim has learned how to type upside down.

How about upside down typing instructions for the rest of us, please?

Larry said he turned his keyboard over but since I was on a laptop, I had to find an alternate method. Google is your friend as usual.
