Model Railroading > Need advice on HO SD70ACe in New York Central colors NS 1066

Since I grew up in a New York Central family, I would like to get one of the subject locomotive for my model RR even though it does ot fit the period I am modeling. I know that several companies have or did have the NS Heritage series. Which has the model that is most accurate with all the details?

The Athearn Genesis model is the best one......if you cannot find one let me know by PM - I know a shop that has a few of them.

I have the Athearn New York Central SD70ACe in HO and I think it is the best regarding detail. I have seen others that are ok.

Looks like a new batch of NYC SD70ACes have just been re-released from Athearn, looking at M.B. Klein today.
