Also, the January Model Railroader (I received my digital edition today) has an article on making cars more reliable. Part of the article includes using a Reboxx Exxact Socket no. T-100 to remove flash and generally tune up axle holes on plastic trucks. I believe that Micro Mark sells a similar product. I have used mine for years. It works.
Before you spend a lot of money on new trucks, try tuning the ones you have. It will save money! Also, weathering goes a long way to make trucks look better. Have fun! Steve Barkley, MMR |
