Model Railroading > CSX Carbon Black LocalDate: 12/06/17 20:36 CSX Carbon Black Local Author: ghemr This CSX train has a handful of carbon black cars for the local customer. The cars have various shades of weathering---nothing too drastic but just enough to give them individual appearances.....

Nice work with the weathering on these, - Jeff Carlson Date: 12/07/17 06:10 Re: CSX Carbon Black Local Author: wheel_slip The cars look great! I like the changed out wheel sets... Is the first car behind the locomotive a Scaltrains car?

I would go with their 5750 body style. Companies such as Cadot, Huber, Sid Richardson and Cities Services. Note that those cars also offer the double COTS panels, ACI labels and a few have the U-I wheel dot, which are unique for that era... It's just hard to narrow down which version of those four may have been common in the Front Range or Utah Rio Grande.
