Model Railroading > Athearn blue box parts sourceDate: 12/08/17 09:17 Athearn blue box parts source Author: Q-GP30 Where is the best place to buy parts for older Athearn blue box locomotives? I need handrail sets for GP50’s/ SD40-2’s/SD40T-2’s and underframes for SD40T-2’s and SW1000/SW1500’s?

When I was into HO I used to go to swap meets at our local Railroad Museum. I would patiently go through my parts drawers and bag up all my HO parts--especially from Athearn and offer them up for sale. Those bags would disappear within a hour! Then I would take my "winnings" and go over to the folks selling Marx!!!

They have a ton of stuff in stock that's not on the website. Remember to ask for ALEX. Date: 12/08/17 12:50 Re: Athearn blue box parts source Author: hartrick24 If you strike out with Athearn, the auction site by the name of Ihe2005 has a good selection of Athearn parts.
When all other options have run out he has come through for me. Steve H. Date: 12/08/17 13:15 Re: Athearn blue box parts source Author: jkchubbes I've had good luck on ebay

Scroll down to HO Railroad Products, and you'll find plenty of what you seek. ʎɹɹɐl |
