Broadway Limited Big Boy Change of Driver Sync
Author: neildahl

When I did my video with the comparison of the MTH and BLI Big Boys several people noted that the BLI drivers were always in the same position. example when the rods are down they are down on the front and rear engine... Since the engine only has one motor they are always in sync with each other. Once that was pointed out I started noticing it so I changed the timing of the front engine compared to the rear engine. Several people asked for me to post a video to show how this is done.

This engine is a strong puller, but I have to admit that this visual change does make its running look more balanced.

The sound of the engines still go in and out of beat, but it not as obvious.

Enjoy, Neil

Looks easy enough. Thanks for sharing this with us. I need to go ver my articulated power anyways, so I'll check this and change as needed.
