Anyone else love scratch building stuff?
Author: Blue-Ox

Everyone has some part of modeling railroading that they thoroughly enjoy. For some reason, mine happens to be scratch building structures and scenery so I was wondering how many others find scratch building models as relaxing as I do?

I can't do the work that you do Steve, only wish. I looked at your finished work in your store showcase yesterday. I think you are going to need another case
for your work....

All the models are beautiful but the three pictures of the General Store are outstanding and I attribute those pictures to have being taken outdoors in the sunlight. Very, very nice.

I scratch-built the station in Rockwood, PA. I used the B&O standard plans and photographs that I could find in books and the internet.

The Markleton post office was made using screen shots of various videos I have along the Keystone Sub.

Nice Steve! Love the pics! I kitbash a lot , and have started a few scratchbuilds, but I don't have any done yet.

Maybe some day Steve ( Blue Ox Trains ) will post a short video of his kit bashed store with the rotating steam loco. That is the best one done.

I like a good kit! I modify a lot of vehicle models too!
However, I don't think I've ever done anything completely from scratch.
