Atlas HO scale Dash 8

I have previously received an atlas Dash 8 c from atlas and it has the DC sound. Since I run this on DC I am not generally expecting sound and there are problems like inability to run in a lash up and it tends to just stall out at full throttle. I don’t care how extensively this has been covered befor I would just like to know if there is a decoder to simply get rid of the DC sound feature, and run it like any other of my Ho scale models.

So you want DC or DCC?

If all you want is analog DC all you need is the stock light board..........
