Trains and Marines
Author: bandob

On Saturday, March 17 and Sunday, March 18 the National Capital Trackers O-Gauge Modular Railroad Club had an exhibit at the National Museum of the Marine Corps, Quantico, VA. What an honor to be able too exhibit in such a prestigious venue! It was a real treat to exhibit for Active Duty Marines, their families, Veterans, and the public. It was also Graduation weekend, so lots of new 2nd Lts. were there with their families.
Here's some photos, showing the relationship of the layout to the exhibits in the Leatherneck Gallery.

More layout scenes. Trackers left tired but happy on Sunday. It had been a great show.

And, some train action, under the looming presence of an amphibious landing craft.

The museum is by far one of the best museums that a person can visit even without the train layouts being there.
