IHC and AHM Passenger car truck replacement

Has anyone installed Walthers passenger car roller bearing trucks on there stream line cars? Or what type of truck have others used on them these are the modern light weight ones. thanks Boyd in Chiloquin.

You could use Walthers trucks. But, a major retrofit of the bolster is probably required. Cheaper and easier to replace the cars with Walthers streamlined cars found on Ebay. Better looking as well.

IHC did import some excellent metal trucks some years ago. You can still find them on Ebay and could be a better fit.

Someone makes a kit to rebuild the bolster to accept new trucks for these cars, I believe. But if they are like most of IHC and AHM cars, they're foobies.

Would be nice but try to find the ones I need that are Walthers have not shown up in months so will just go with what I have will look for the metal IHC trucks on ebay thanks for all the help. Boyd in Chiloquin where spring is almost here just need a little more snow first.

And for my viewing pleasure three just showed up on ebay first Walters NP cars I have seen in months.

I have a 3D printed adaptor available on Shapeways to allow Wathers trucks on Rivarossi, AHM, IHC passenger cars.

I don't know about Branchline cars, I don't have any so can't see if they will fit.

I have a couple of AHM RPO cars so will order a couple and look at the Branchline cars while I'm at it. I also have a Bachmann car I started a kitbash with. I know how to adapt them but your parts would be quicker.
