3 SP B30-7's (little gluggers) PART 4
Author: sp8192

Finished. Well at least I think I am (except for decoders). Now they need a little weathering...hard to imagine SP motors this clean!! I wanted to make 3 different locos according to their details so all are a little different from each other. Began their life as HO Atlas B30-7's. Previous updates below..

Very impressive! Love the oddball number boards, just like the prototype.
How about some Dullcote?

Are you speaking of the plated over location of the action light? The number boards look normal to me.

Well done although I am partial to the standard SP lettering.

7778 has a different font for the numbers then the other two units.

They look great, just like real SP locomotives when they were clean.

Beautiful work! I love the work you did to countersink the AC unit on the cab roof - Most Excellent! And.. I remember when they were clean like this too!

Cheers,
Harry

I remember the prototypes well. In and out of LA, often on the Blue Streak Merchandise. Very nice models!
