Model Railroading > Much-delayed project … SPLCo successDate: 04/16/18 12:00 Much-delayed project … SPLCo success Author: Jeff_Johnston A few days back I posed a piece about "Getting to that much-delayed project." After much, but not too much, ado, the project is finished and successful. The roadbed/deck aligns nicely with the 3-percent grade approach and with the level yard surface while providing a smooth transition between the two. The entire bridge lifts up and clears the ceiling to tip back and rest nicely against the adjacent wall. A pair of table leaf alignment pins provide an accurate means of making sure the rails continue to line up following up-and-down opening and closing bridge movements. I'm happy this project is behind us and we can move on to other less-carpentry and more-modeling projects.
