Model Railroading > The Mendacity Canyon RailroadDate: 05/11/18 13:38 The Mendacity Canyon Railroad Author: wjpyper I have a free-lance 3-rail O-gauge layout which I call the Mendacity Canyon Railroad. Mendacity being a $20 word for dishonest or untruthful. I call it that because it doesn't represent any real place. I tell people that it is in the southwestern United States, somewhere near where California, Nevada and Arizona meet. Part of this layout is a collection of ore cars made by Lionel especially for the Gadsden Pacific Toy Train Operating Museum in Tucson, Arizona. The Alco RS-3 locomotive is by Weaver and the Kennecot searchlight caboose was made by K-Line. I would like to sell these trains as a set. If you are interested please contact me at rrbill10@comcast.net
