Model Railroading > Working on the C&GRDate: 06/12/18 16:06 Working on the C&GR Author: Bob3985 So last weekend I decided to take photos showing the depicted workers on the Cheyenne & Green River layout in the mall.
First we see a rancher moving his heard of sheep. It appears they have come upon an obstacle as the local energy company does repairs on a local transmission line. Second we see the workers at the ChooCHooAreUS warehouse having lunch at their picnic bench and what appears in the siding out back turns out to be a Union Pacific Turbine on an eastbound freight. Third we see a local contractor backed up to the local stockyard to load out steers for processing but one had a different idea as he perched up on the roof of the trailer. Bob Krieger Cheyenne, WY Date: 06/12/18 16:11 A few more working on the C&GR Author: Bob3985 In these three scenes we see;
First a crew and onlookers at the site of a derailment that also turned out to have some hazmat leakage in the river. Second the derailment scene is being covered by the local radio station in a helicopter. That station is WKRP and, yes, Les Nessman is providing the coverage. And third we see a small funeral taking place at the old cemetery. Bob Krieger Cheyenne, WY Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 06/13/18 06:23 by Bob3985.
