I have seen some nice weathering effects with India Ink and alcohol. I'm considering trying this. Rolling stock is either plastic or painted wood. Any advice is most appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Be sure to get India ink. The one I have is labelled "Super Black". Don't get just ordinary black ink, which actually has a blue tint to it. Also, the alcohol can leave a white film when it evaporates. This will disappear instantly when sprayed with Dullcote.
