CA Zephyr detouring on the SP with cab forward help

Every so often Western Pacific's California Zephyr detoured on the SP.  On this day, SP found a decent looking cab forward to help out

Back in the '50s during a really bad winter the CZ and some SP trains were routed through Mojave and over Tehachapi. This may have been the year the City of SF was stranded on Donner...
The CZ had an SP pilot engine but I do not recall what it was.
That is one fine looking CZ, by the way,,, Lot's of interior detail.
