Model Railroading > Bush Funeral carDate: 12/03/18 06:07 Bush Funeral car Author: Bob3985 Some time back in my life I took an Athearn observation car and painted it in the two tone gray paint scheme of Union Pacific. Inside I placed a casket draped in white cloth with a Preacher and mourners in the rear portion of the carnwith a trainman on the back platform. The platform was decorated with black bunting. So over the years with the Sherman Hill Club I would run this car as a special tribute to those whom I knew and had passed. If our model railroad was set back up in the mall I would let a member who owned a model of the UP's 1943 and or 4141 pull the car in honor of the late President George H.W. Bush's memory.
