Model Railroading > Bachmann BNSF GP40 #3001 and cabooseDate: 12/15/18 12:43 Bachmann BNSF GP40 #3001 and caboose Author: bodkin6071 This was from the Bachmann "Rail Chief" train set I bought a year back to start my comeback into HO scale, acquired at Hobby Lobby.
Yes, it actually reads "GP40-2R" on the frame sill. As for the caboose...it didn't stay in the BNSF livery for very long. I gave it a standard coat of red and left it at that. This is a Bachmann caboose that has been around forever it seems. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 12/15/18 12:43 by bodkin6071. Was previously the BN #3501, and originally the CB&Q #177.
