From long ago

A man from Florida, Ralph Richards built this little 2-4-0.  Ralph was a pretty good sized fella and I always wondered why he built such a small engine.  The answer he said was simple enough.  It would fit inside his station wagon.  AND he would strap a fishing boat on top of the station wagon, come to Texas and run in train meets and fish in between meets.  That little engine would steam like crazy too.  It was fired on coal.

Ralph passed away about 15 years ago and I have often wondered what happened to his little engine.
