Photo 1 One more look at the town of Almost. (So named because it is almost to the summit on the line.)
Photos 2 and 3 are at Sharon Springs.  The passengers are waiting for the soon to arrive el Capitan.  The train in the background is a replica of Death Valley Scottie's record setting trip from California to Chicago.  It runs from Sharon Springs to Burnt Lake a resort.  The only in or out is via train.
