Mixed "A" units, just like the real thing.  Nice.

If you have some Southern Railway ALCO RS3's, put them on that train. In the mid-sixties, Southern frequently used the Peach Queen to ferry RS-3's from the Carolina's to Atlanta for servicing. The RS-3's would have to run ahead of the road unit with the steam generator.

I have a copy of Curt Tillotson Jr's "Southern Railway Diesel Locomotives And Trains Vol. 1". In it were several photos of #29 "Peach Queen" and #33 "Piedmont Limited" with combinations of RS2's, RS3s F3B's and FP7B's. There are also photos of #6 "Piedmont" with various combinations of freight power ahead of the FP7A quartet sets. Amongst the combinations were an RS3, GP7, ex-Norfolk Southern GP18 and a GP30, and two GP38AC's and two RS3's.

I forgot to say, this was Monday morning and the shop forman in Spencer took off Sunday night and the power that was supposed to be sent down to Pelham Shops didn’t get added. You all are right, does need a couple of RS-3’s in the lead. I am guilty, just like E units in the lead.

Not being critical. You just have a lot of options.
