Model Railroading > Looking for drawing talentDate: 03/15/19 07:57 Looking for drawing talent Author: JeffZCT Hi,
One of the many talents I am missing is drawing. I was looking for someone to do a track plan drawing of my layout that I can use during the op sessions. Anyone provide a name or reference..??? Thanks Date: 03/15/19 08:37 Re: Looking for drawing talent Author: SPDRGWfan Here is a suggestion if you are looking for old school paper track plans vs. a computer software.
I find it helpful to use sheets of 11x17' graph paper which has a grid on it so I can draw the layout room boundaries and features to scale. You can buy pads of 11x17" graph paper at office supply stores like Staples and also get a decent compass and scale rule. That is how I drafted up my current layout plan I indend to build after the basement is finished (mudding the drywall at present) Cheers, Jim Date: 03/25/19 10:46 Re: Looking for drawing talent Author: steam290 Are you looking for a more artistic approach or just a basic diagram? I'm an artist, but only a so-so draftsman.
