Model Railroading > Spam / Bogus Sign Up emails from KalmbachDate: 03/16/19 06:34 Spam / Bogus Sign Up emails from Kalmbach Author: ACR_Ted I just now opened 3 emails from Kalmbach thanking me for registering for Trains, American Snowmobiler and Scale Auto Magazine - which is completely bogus.
I've been getting Trains for decades, but the other two magazines are of no interest to me. I wonder if Kalmbach has been hacked or what. Anyone else get emails like this? The Florida operation was horrible, and I'm hoping for better results from Texas. The changeover may have provided hackers with an opportunity to exploit.

Although hacking can happen to anyone, it sure seems like Kalmbach has ever so slowly gone downhill since they moved some of their operations out of Wisconsin. Seemed like service used to be a lot better back in the day.
