Model Railroading > Fox Valley GP60 with sound

I just bought one of these from Lombard Hobbies at a deal, $159.99. I know lots of folks don't like them but for the price i figured why not. Well, it runs really smooth, the sound is great, the side frames are a bit flat and the beacon looks a bit too large to me. There might be more issues I am not aware of but for the price I don't think you can go wrong.

I have purchased two of the units and I have found them to very reliable. I have had only two issues over the past year. In one of the units, the speaker does not sound as good as it use to, that is if I remembered correctly. My second issue is that I run on a module setup and the fuel tank rubs against some of the rails. On the upside, this does show me where I need to fix my track! And like you, I am happy with what I got for such a good price. Enjoy!
