blast from the past
Author: santafedan

A friend is getting rid of his HO trains.  He is in poor health and his wife wants him to get rid of himself and not her.

These are Penn Line trailors.  The intersting thing about the green one is that is was .95 cents more then the Monon one.  $1.95 vs $1.00

Blast, indeed.  Looks like Monon has two support legs while the other appears to only have one.  Hmmm.
How many folks remember Penn Line?  I was able to visit their factory (Boyertown PA) in June 1959.

They also made a metal Ford C-Series COE tractor to go with those trailers, and lots of Pennsy steam things, of course.

his wife wants him to get rid of himself and not her. ??
I think you met to say
his wife wants him to get rid of "The Trains" himself and not her. (having to do It)
I would likely just get rid of her, and keep my trains.
My trains don't nag me.

Its either behind the it or broken off as its in the same position as the other looking close at the side distance.

I believe Bowser took over the Penn Line models. Don't remember when, but it was a long time ago.
