Model railroad trucking, on the Q
Author: WrongWayMurphy

Operated on a friends CB&Q (FT. Worth & Denver) layout in the DFW area last night.
He was a trucker in a previous job, so trucks are a big part of his layout.
Here are a couple train photos, then the trucks.

That looks like a fun RR to operate on, especially if you like a lot of switching as I do.  Nice work!

I like that old (Suydam) California Models' Purina building. Had one myself in the early 70s; brought back some memories.

Nice little layout, the quarry is a nice touch too.

Suydam made some nice kits.
Also, is this O scale? I ask because of the quality and details of the trucks.

Judging by the pencils in pic 2 I’d guess it’s HO. Die cast trucks are more highly detailed these days

Really nice stuff all around.  I especially like that stock yard scene.

Wonderful photos. Question about the 4th photo. It looks like you are going to replace the road? Or is this an water illusion?

Fantastic layout.
