Model Railroading > PRR TrainmastersDate: 05/15/19 15:47 PRR Trainmasters Author: emd_mrs1 Did Pennsylvania Railroad use their Trainmasters on passenger trains?
I recall mention of their being in hump and yard service along with ore trains, but my fuzzy memory recalls some pictures of them on a passenger run. Many thanks Michael Date: 05/15/19 15:52 Re: PRR Trainmasters Author: CPR_4000 I've seen pix of Reading Train Masters on passenger but can't remember Pennsy's on anything but freight. Have not been able to find many photos of them to see if they had steam generators or water tank fillers. A builder photo doesn't appear to show any provision for the steam trainline.

Trainmaster, one word, is a railroad operating dept. officer. Train Master, two words, is a locomotive . Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 05/16/19 14:40 by Duna.
