Model Railroading > Oldest building housing a model RR club - 1330 ADDate: 06/14/19 18:06 Oldest building housing a model RR club - 1330 AD Author: WrongWayMurphy On a recent visit to the UK, I searched out for a model railroad club to visit, and as we were
staying in Exeter, found a nice bunch of the group called Junction 72A. They have a facebook page of the same name and you can see my mug there during the visit. They have a couple OO layouts and a couple N scale pikes upstairs in a 1330 built building known as St Katherines Priory - more on that here : http://www.exetermemories.co.uk/em/_buildings/polsloepriory.php They are a very friendly bunch and were quite happy I came by for the visit. Pic 1 - OO in the foreground, n scale in the rear Pic 2 - n scale station scene, on a portable layout they take to shows/events Pic 3 - n scale canal & lock scene with very realistic canal boat - NICE !
