A Rusty Relic from the South
Author: funnelfan

A project that has been sloooowwwwwllllly progressing on my workbench over the past couple years is this Southern short ACF hopper. I see these old cars passing by on H-KCKPAS/H-PASKCK all the time. I believe they carry a clay to some place in the PNW. Today these cars are VERY rusty, but since I model them back in the first half of the 1990's, it's not quite so rusty. This is the Atlas Trainman car with some added details, one of the few prototypes for the oddball model.

Ted, great job on weathering!  I think "Jimmies" would be proud.  Thanks for sharing.
