Model Railroading > More layout progress

One of the layouts I am currently working on is making progress.
This section of the layout has a coal mine to the right or behind my camera.  This will be several "company" houses for the workers.  This section has to be built in 1/4ths.  The first three photos is section 1.  There is a corner behind the scene.  Once the ground cover, trees, houses, road and shrubs are in place, the next section begins in set two below.

This section is in place.  I will be able to add cars and figures later in the house section.

This is section 2. This has to be finished before I continue forward from the corner.  
The track under the layout is reachable for those "never can happen" derailments.
