Sunday at Frontier Mall
Author: DRGWK59

After a very busy Saturday at Cheyenne's Frontier Mall, Sunday brought out some different trains.  Attached is Ed's Solid Rocket Booster train, a common sight during the Space Shuttle era between Utah and Florida through Wyoming!  Running through Union Station on the Cheyenne and Green River.

Nice.  Looks like the CP unit was stopped at the 'border'

The bumper may have had something to do with it too.

The CP unit and the UP behind it, as well as the UP Turbine, are club owned units. We also have a large amount of rolling stock avaiable for members to use. We also have a couple of units painted for the Cheyenne and Green River and the Cheyenne and Northwestern, our travelling layout!  The video was taken at the lift bridge, so we have a "dead end" storage track, or two.

Does anyone know - on those SRB trains, did the boxcars between each SRB car have to be empty or loaded?  If loaded, did it matter what was inside?
