by stopping my GP7 in the nick of time. It takes 4 men and a small boy to rerail the geep and had the engine proceeded another 6" in reverse, they would have been on hands and knees with a block and bar. Been there done that one time had one train on two parallel tracks guy thru the switch under a 12ft riding flat. Date: 09/04/19 16:59 Re: Close call Author: santafedan We had a loaded ballast car off today....just another day at the track. We have an "A" frame witrh a pully system to get them back on the track. The car with it is always with the ballast train. We had a rookie engineer today.
