Model Railroading > Split knuckle couplers?Date: 10/27/19 21:25 Split knuckle couplers? Author: TS735 I’m looking to see if anybody has ever manufactured a split knuckle Janney coupler in HO scale similar to the one pictured here. For those not familiar with them, they were sometimes used on logging and industrial locomotives to still be able to couple with equipment that had link and pin couplers or some other non-standard arrangement. I’ve scoured the internet but came up empty. If all else fails, I’ll just cut a slot in a scale sized plastic knuckle coupler I suppose.
