Three of us laid down about 280 ft of track on Monday.  Second and third pic are of a "town" with
two stub end tracks as we play switching games a couple times a year, with road freights using car cards.

Here is a before and after photo of a single track section.
There is about 400 ft of track between passing sidings, and we run
bi-directional with signals.  Ballast will be added after all track is laid
on the 1500 ft new extension.  Tuesday after, one reported he laid around
the house all day with a heat pack on his back, the other reported a spike in
Aleve usage for his backache.  I woke up with a twitch in my knee but we are
all ok now and ready to tackle more track next week.

Nice work.  Looks like a good way to spend a fall day.
Is this a club track or someone's private layout?

And might add its 28 ten foot pre built sections this takes time more than one could imagin and its not done yet needs ballast, final leveling and alignment.  Does not go as quick as HO snap track like one might think been there done that over the years lots of on your knee work there.

One finds the old body sometime complains...but, the end results is good.
