Sacramento Model Railroad Historical Society Open House

In conjunction with the International Railfair the Sacramento Model Railroad Historical Society will be holding it's annual open house. The building is approximately 20 minutes from Railfair location and we will have a table at Railfair. For further information please see the attached flyer and map.

Back in the 1950s there was a large HO model railroad permanently set up in an old California State Fairgrounds building operated by a club. Don’t know how long it lasted there. Same organization?

When I attended California State University Sacramento around 1977/78 a train member of a local club took me upstairs in an old warehouse where there was a large SP club and ran some trains for me, many of them in black widow scheme.  I don't know the name of it or when if closed or moved.
