Model Railroading > Tehachapi Pass Model Railroad Open HouseDate: 11/06/19 20:37 Tehachapi Pass Model Railroad Open House Author: tehachapi-dave Good evening, My father and I will be operating our outdoor model railroad both this Saturday and next in conjunction with National Model Railroad Month tours here in the east. We have a large G Scale railroad depicting the Tehachapi Pass line in southern California. Trains of both the SP and Santa Fe will be running, and quite a bit of new power will be in the mix. The trains and motive power will reflect the Tehachapi Pass line as it would have appeared in 1995, with Warbonnets piloting hot intermodal trains of the Santa Fe, and older SP power lugging lumber drags south. This event is OUTDOORS, and weather pending, if it rains we will not be running (weather is looking favorable at the moment.) Please park on the street side opposite the house, and we hope to see you there.
