The sound quality of the Two is much better as have both as far as Lok sound its too hard to deal with and dont feel the sound is as good. Just my opinion am not a computer nerd either and its much harder to program Lok sound than Soundtraxx also feel its more hype than anything else. Just my opinion on it.

Fake news BAB. The topic is about Soundtraxx but you brought in fake news on Loksound. Loksound boards can be purchased from your DCC reseller with the exact sound file you need. Once you install the loksound board or decoder, you can program Loksound with your throttle, just like Soundtraxx or with JMRI and a computer interface, just like Soundtraxx. There is a Loksound programmer that allows for advanced things for nerds but not needed. Please stop with the fake news. and as I have said many times, for older folks, TCS may be the best choice which has audio assist which allows you to program the TCS sound decoder using audio commands. Please read these words as you keep repeating false info over and over on Loksound. Use the sound decoder of your choice.

Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving.  Bruce

He is expressing his opinion.  It is every bit as valid as yours.

Tsunami2s have some extra sound files that the Tsunamis dont have. One of the most obvious is the radio chatter that comes with the T2. And if you want fact between Manufacturers, locsound has decent sound, but I have a lot of trouble matching them up to tsunamis. Motor control just isnt as good to me. Was told that before I bought them and in fact thats the way it ended up. Eventually Ill T2 them as well, until then they run as a pair by themselves.
