Microscale and Switchline Decals both make good quality graffiti decals. I have used both with success*.

They don't make decals with whats on that specific locomotive, but if you wanted to do it by hand, I know many people have had luck with a combination of ballpoint pens, paint pens and sharpies. 

*I don't encourage graffiti, but with being a modern era modeler, it is a necessary thing to have it on some equipment to be prototypical. 

 

I have often wondered how the "graffiti artists" can get so close to a locomotive to do their "work" when I stand a good chance of getting arrested if I want to get that close to get a good picture!  (It takes them more time than my photo does so it makes me wonder moreso.) 

I always thought if my cameta was designed to look like a can of spray paint, I could go any where in the yard.
I stand on the sidewalk with a camera, and security shows up, then the police.

There is more than one reason why I keep my layout in the 1950s.  The photo above is testimony to one of those reasons.

Hey, model what you like, it's your railroad. It's when people badmouth people who model the present day, warts and all, that irritates me.

If you're going to model present day, you've got to go all and out.  On one hand, I hate what vandals do becuase I know it costs a lot of money and time for the railroads to fight it, but yet, it makes a contemporary freight train into some kind of roaming art instilation.  Putting that in your model will definately make it more interesting. 

I model the 40s/50s (mostly because I'm a steam fanatic), but if I'm looking at a modern day railroad, I want to see the genuine article. Every little detail is what brings the railroad to life. Weatered trains nearly always look better than an untouched plastic model out of the box.  They contenue to look plastic until you get a layer of grime on them.
