Model Railroading > Need some help locating...

  I guess it's a type of ramp you would see at a car dealership. I think for only new cars that would be driven up the ramp so a buyer could see the under side of the car.

I have never seen a ramp like that at a car dealership. They eat up a huge amount of room which most car dealerships don't have enough of.
Which is why they use hoists.

How many new-car buyers look at the undercarriage, for that matter? A used car or one suspected of needing repair might warrant such an inspection, but not a new one.
 

Steve are you thinking about the kind used for a lube lift or the kind that displays new cars?

Paul, it would be for a new car. At my Mobil refinery main office, I'd like one to have a 1/87 scale racecar with Mobil markings on it. My 14'x 31' layout should have the room.

COLORADO dealerships have a lot of these. Showing off 4x4s.
Never seen one for models.Would be easy enough to make one out of styrene. Most are square tube construction.

Auto display ramp
into the Shapeways search bar and got a whole bunch of them. In Various Scales
shapeways.com  
is a great place to find the odd stuff the big manufacturers don't make.
I found an  early Ford Bronco (1st car) 3 wheeled Honda ATVs, and under car augers,
all on their site. Just need those Ortner extensions (LOL)

 They do have them TP, just not in Toledo. So I guess you are wrong...
