Model Railroading > Chimney SagDate: 04/04/20 14:04 Chimney Sag Author: BlackWidow I pulled out some buildings that have been in storage for nearly 7 years. They are all laser cut buildings with metal castings for chimneys. Nearly every chimney looked like this. They have been stored in a hot, humid garage, but I couldn't believe it when I saw this. And yes, I know the jokes will write themselves...
Has anyone on TO had this happen before? Date: 04/04/20 14:27 Re: Chimney Sag Author: jcaestecker I'd leave them the way they are and tell everyone that it was the result of a tornado.

Date: 04/04/20 19:58 Re: Chimney Sag Author: wabash2800 Maybe you could remove them, heat them up and bend them back in shape?
Victor A. Baird http://www.erstwhilepublications.com Date: 04/04/20 20:34 Re: Chimney Sag Author: PHall Was it stored on it's side?
Date: 04/04/20 22:16 Re: Chimney Sag Author: BlackWidow It was not stored on its side. Several buildings had this happen to the chimneys, but others did not. Just so very strange. I will likely pull them out and see what I can do to straighten them out or replace them,

When I read the title I expected this to be a picture of some railroad location called Chimney Sag. Sounds like something that would be in western Virginia. Date: 04/05/20 12:56 Re: Chimney Sag Author: Floridarailfan Florida--hurricane season. . .
Date: 04/05/20 16:45 Re: Chimney Sag Author: Arved Try heating them with a heat gun and bend them back?
