WTB: Mantua/Tyco Star-Kist Tuna 40’ Box Cars
Author: Streamliner

I'm looking to buy one or more of these early style 40' Star-Kist Tuna box cars.  This is the old Mantua/Tyco tooling.  Must be unbroken.  Please send me a
Private Message if you have cars to sell.  Thanks.

My HO days go back to 1957 and my Dad had a Mantua "Shifter" 0-4-0 (which I still have in a box) to start off, but I sure don't remember these Star-Kist cars. TJY

I believe they were made as a promotional item for Star-Kist.  I have a whole train set of the same era, that was made exclusively for RCA.
